New Number Plates Cost N15,000 And Replacing Old Plates Cost N15,000--FRSC

NFORMATION ON NUMBER PLATES AND DRIVER’S LICENCE – FRSC
The cost of replacing old number plates is Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) and fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000) for new plates, excluding vehicle registration, insurance and road worthiness certification fees which vary based on vehicle categories and the use of the vehicle (private or commercial for example) and also from state to state.
Please don’t go to an FRSC office to procure Number plates. Rather, go to the State Board of Internal Revenue or the Licensing Office.
Any FRSC staff negotiating procurement of Number Plates with you is a tout. Report him formally to FRSC or send a mail to frscsocialpages@frsc.gov.ng
Don’t go through any “middleman” or a tout!
Drivers Licence fee is Six thousand Naira (N6,000). Go directly to any Driver’s Licence Center which is a one-stop production center as other agencies involved in the procurement are all collocated.
Dont go through any tout please, as you would be issued fake licence, which could land you in jail. Some people have actually been convicted both within and outside the country for being in possession or trying to transact business with fake Nigerian Drivers Licence.
Ignorance is not an excuse please. Be careful
